Christian Holzer is the band director for STMS. Mr. Holzer is excited to continue building the traditions of The Sound Machine. Mr. Holzer is in his seventh year teaching and is a graduate of the University of North Texas. While attending UNT, Mr. Holzer had the opportunity to play in the Symphonic Band, the world famous Lab Bands, and was a drill technician for the Green Brigade Marching Band. Mr. Holzer is an active member of his church’s praise team in addition to performing all over the metroplex. Mr. Holzer is married to his college sweetheart Kathryn. Benjamin Kelly is the associate band director for STMS. He is a recent graduate of the University of North Texas, and is excited to begin his second year of teaching. He hopes to continue creating and developing strong traditions with The Stafford Sound Machine. While attending UNT he was involved in the Green Brigade Marching Band where he served as trumpet section leader. He also per- formed in various Lab bands, Jazz Repertory Ensemble, Concert Band, and Brass Band. His love for Drum and Bugle Corps has led him to march in the Seattle Cascades and the Santa Clara Vanguard. He was an active member in his church's college group, serving as president for two years.
