Honors and Symphonic Band Sectional Schedule

Weekly sectionals will begin starting the week of January 9th. Click HERE for schedule. Sectionals are crucial to a band’s success as directors have the opportunity to work with instrument-specific groups. Students do receive sectional grades based on attendance. Please let your director know as early as possible (minimum 24 hours) in the event you may miss a sectional. If you are in athletics or any other activity it is crucial to communicate to both the band directors and your coaches so that a compromise can be made. We all do our best to be flexible.

Sound Machine Recordings

To hear the SSM’s latest and greatest recordings simply go to www.terrypse.com, look for Stafford MS and follow the directions. From there band members can download music. Enjoy!!

5th Graders!!

If you are interested in playing an instrument next year contact Mr. Holzer at holzerc@friscoisd.org to set up an appointment to try the instruments.

This is your opportunity to get a taste of what being in band is like. A band director will work one-on-one with you to find THE instrument best suited for you. Don’t miss out!

STMS Solo & Ensemble Results

This year’s festival was a huge success. The hard work everyone put into their music really showed. All of the judges were extremely complimentary. The directors could not be more proud. Thank you students for your hard work, and thank you parents for your support.
